About us

The Stephanie Rose CHS Foundation was created from a place of deep love and painful loss. In honor of Stephanie, whose life was tragically affected by Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS). What makes us different is our personal connection to the cause. I started this foundation in honor of my beautiful sister, Stephanie Rose, whose life was tragically cut short due to complications related to Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS), a condition most people have never heard of, and fewer understand.

Stephanie was kind, loving, full of light, and like so many others, she turned to cannabis to help with her anxiety and nausea, never knowing over time it would turn on her. Even at her weakest, she was showing up with grace trying to push through.

Our core values:

  • Awareness: We believe the knowledge can save lives.
  • Compassion: No one should be shamed, dismissed, or blamed for something they don't understand. We lead with empathy, for those suffering, those recovering, and those grieving.
  • Advocacy: We exist to raise our voices on behalf of people who are ignored, misdiagnosed, or struggling in silence. We're here to change that.
  • Legacy: Stephanie deserved better. Through this foundation, her name, her story, and her spirit will make sure others get the care and understanding she didn't.

Get involved

People suffering from Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS) often face a heartbreaking mix of physical pain, emotional isolation, and medical misunderstanding. The Stephanie Rose CHS Foundation exists to fill the gaps that Stephanie, and so many others fell through. You can help!

If someone wants to get involved with The Stephanie Rose CHS Foundation, here are the different ways they can contribute or support our cause:

  • Volunteer your time: Share your own CHS story as a part of our awareness blog.
  • Donate: Your donation helps us create real change, whether it's printing materials, funding support programs, or medical research.
  • Help us spread the word: Share Stephanie's story, post about CHS on social media, tag our foundation in awareness posts, talk to friends or loved ones who might be suffering in silence.
